Hadden Hill Pro Shop Team

Sarah has been a member at Hadden since 2017, and joined the Pro Shop team in September 2021.

Her handicap is just below 10, and as a former international cricketer and county hockey player, it's fair to say she is a driven and competitive individual, and likes hitting things with sticks! 

Sarah is full-time at Hadden Hill, and her  role at the club currently covers a wide range of responsibilities. Sarah hovers between the office and the Pro Shop,  assisting with competition and membership administration, society booking, club communications, improving Pro Shop processes and anything else she can get her teeth into!

Archie is a former junior captain at Hadden Hill, a member since he was 9 or 10, and joined the Pro Shop team in May 2022. He is friendly, passionate and willing to help customers with all their golfing needs.

Archie is knowledgeable about different clubs and specifications, and handles club repairs and fittings. Archie turned professional on 1st October 2023 and is currently a PGA Trainee at the University of Birmingham, and is always working on improving his game.

Archie is our lead club fitter and club technician, having also recently qualified as an Advanced Clubfitter from the DGI Academy.

Andy Barber

Ben Costello

Ben joined the team in July 2023, and is a member of the Hadden Hill junior squad. He is steadily improving his handicap, and is aiming to join the rest of the team in the teens very soon. 

Ben is a part-time Pro Shop Assistant.

Rory Chown

Rory joined the team in summer 2024, and is a also member at Drayton Park. He is steadily improving his handicap, and is aiming to join the rest of the team in the teens very soon. 

Rory is a part-time Pro Shop Assistant.

Don Law 

Don started working in the bar at Hadden Hill in 2016, having previously worked as the clubhouse manager at Mapledurham Golf Club. Don is a member of the HOGS, Men's Captain for 2025 and his handicap hovers in the teens. 

Don migrated down to the Pro Shop team towards the end of 2021, and  is a part-time Pro Shop Assistant.

Guy Maddox

Guy joined Hadden Hill as a member via the PlayMoreGolf scheme in April 2021, and began working in the Pro Shop in May 2022. After a long career in IT, Guy retired in April 2022 and is looking forward to spending less time staring at screens and more time out in the fresh air.

Guy is our Lead Marshal on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and a part-time Pro Shop Assistant.

Elliott Moyser

Elliott is a PGA Golf Coach, single figure handicapper, sits on the men's committee and runs the Reps team.

Elliott spent nearly 40 years working in retail with John Lewis, and brings his wealth and knowledge of experience managing and leading teams, mentoring colleagues and supporting in all areas of the business, to Hadden Hill. 

Elliott is a part-time Pro Shop Assistant.

Ben Parkinson

Ben joined the team in November 2021, and is a member of the Hadden Hill junior squad . Ben is quickly building his knowledge of the golf industry, whilst studying towards pursuing a career in the field of psychology.

Ben is a part-time Pro Shop Assistant.

Drew Smith

Drew joined the team in August 2022 after completing work experience with us. He is new to golf, but is  aiming to join the rest of the team in treading the fairways very soon. Drew is a great all round sportsman, being a former footballer and he has a black belt in taekwondo.

Drew is a part-time Pro Shop Assistant.

Charlie Wintle

Charlie joined the team in the Pro Shop in December 2019, after originally trying to join the greenkeeping team and being snaffled by the pro shop team instead.

Charlie previously worked as a telecoms engineer in the UK and overseas, and is primarily our range engineer. He is responsible for maintaining and improving the facilities around the range, with a focus on both suitability and sustainability. 

Charlie is a part-time Pro Shop Assistant.
